10 reasons why I love japan!

Don't you love the Japanese too? I love them to death. Without them, there wouldn't be the World War II. Without them, the world wouldn't have to be weary of eating fish that are contaminated with radiation last year. Haha, alright, all jokes aside, these are the 10 reasons why i love them.
10. Their manners and cleanliness
I'm pretty sure that the world's manner and cleanliness originated from japan. I can totally imagine a Sensei of manners and his sidekick, a Kyoshi in cleanliness, travelling around the world to spread the word of manners and cleanliness. Then they reach England and the English said, "Nay mate, i ain't gonna learn whatever you speak of. You should just head back." and he spat his phlegm on the grass.
Sensei Manners karate chop-ed the English man and Kyoshi Cleaniless performs the flying kick of kicktoyourballs and the English man fell to the ground and he never had kids. "THIS WILL HAPPEN TO YOU IF YOU DON'T START BEING CLEAN AND POLITE!" shouted Sensei Manners and the English people got scared and started to be prim and proper and the era of tea time and scones began. Man, i think some movie director should seek me to be their script writer.
9. Memoirs of a Geisha and Totto-chan
If you haven't read these 2 books, I... I have nothing to say to you. Scoot off you bad BAD person. I mean how can you not read it? Memoirs of a Geisha is just a pure piece of beautifully sculptured book... cover! I mean look at that lady's lips! Her lips is just, is just, it is just PERFECT. Well, at least it is in those times. And you you hadn't read Totto-chan, you're basically just a child hater and probably a big douche bag. Haha, alright all jokes aside, Memoirs of a Geisha by an American, BUT, but i added in the list because the story takes place in japan and it is based off japan's rich history. It tells us of a story of a geisha who worked in the industry before and after the WWII. Totto-chan is writen by a Japanese and it tells us about a girl who isn't the "normal" student. She was expelled from her public school and her mother takes her to a new school. A school where the kids are not exactly "normal". However, it's a nice and touching story. So go read these 2 book you douche bags!

8. Cosplayers

You may think of them as crazy people who are obsessed with a cartoon. Well, that's what i think of them too! Hahaha, i kid your nasty asses cosplayers! I love you! Especially Iwasaka miyuki ok! *wink* It's not easy cosplaying as some anime character! Most anime characters wear really REALLY REALLY weird clothing and these clothing takes a super long time to create from scratch! (No wonder they never ever change their clothes. Must be hard getting naked due to all the buttons and zips.) Also, cosplayers spend a lot of money on materials and well, wigs! Okay, i definitely can't convince anti-cosplayers that cosplaying isn't cool, so, take a look at this video! It's still considered cosplaying!

7.Awesome hairstylists
They definitely have GREATLY SKILLED hairstylists. That's no doubt. And these hairstyles often have stubbles which really suit them. Do i need to say more? No.
6. Sanrio
From Hello kitty to Keroppi to badte-maru to My Melody. The company has came up with load of cute characters which lots of girls are obsessed over with! (Tho' some of them are over 30 years old!) Some even  have their own cartoon series! Hello Kitty is the best-known of Sanrio characters. Some facts about her include that she has a twin sister named Mimmy and her real name is Kitty White (キティ・ホワイト).
5. Expensive Japanese clothings and Eyelashes
Jrunway has just open in December in Singapore and they carry a whole load of different japanese brands over to Singapore. Just in case you have not yet checked out their stall, let me tell you that most of the stuff cost over $50. Even a piece of jewelry could cost about $40! I am completely astounded at the amount of money they can sell their stuff at! For example, an Atmos t-shirt cost over a $100 dollars! HOWEVER, if you're rich and all, spending such money on Japanese branded clothes is worth it! The quality is great and the design is always really really really pretty. But for Uniqlo, i only recommend the bottoms and the winter jackets. (The tops are awful.) The Japanese also come out with GREAT falsies. Dolly wink is one of the best sellers in the eyelash market. It was many different design in which you can choose from. The founder of Dolly Wink MAY look young but do not be deceived by her. She's actually... 45 years old! And here's another fact, i was just kidding about her age. Hahahaha. She actually only 28, but she already has a kid which is 5 this year!
4. Japanese commericals
HERE. SEE IF FOR YOURSELF. IT'S FUNNY.

3. Manga
The japanese have SUPER DUPER great drawing skills. Like come on, can you draw like this in 5 minute?
I can't. It's crazy. I have no idea how the japanese does it. They're nuts.
2. Anime

One Piece. Naruto. Bleach. Fairy Tail. Gundam. These are the few widely popular anime series. The oldest of the lot is no doubt Gundam which started showing at 1979. The reason i like anime is because the "people" in the shows have powers which a normal person like you and i can NEVER possess. But, i think it would be pretty cool if humans actually have such powers :( Imagine, if we could shoot food out of our hand at anytime we want, won't it be pretty darn awesome?! Oh wait, not really, we'd all probably be like the americans then :/
1. Games

COME ON. You must agree that most of the worlds greatest games come from Japan! Final fantasy, diablo,  pokemon, Sonic, Mario? Yeah. These are the few best games ever. Go Japan, go go japan!

Alright, well, that concludes this lengthy post! Goodbye you sexy giraffes and have an GREAT week! ^^

Japan's harajuku cutie: Kyary Pamyu Pamyu

Kiriko Takemura, or Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is the absolute Harajuku cutie. She is known for having an outrageous fashion sense. She started out as a blogger and then started modeling for Harajuku fashion magazines like "Kera!" and "Zipper". Although she is only standing at a height of 1.57 metres, her cutesy and lovable look brought her a measurable amount of success as a model. She then started her own line of eyelashes in collaboration with Eyemazing called "Harajuku Doll". She also appeared at a number of fashion shows at that time. Debuting with "Ponponpon" in July 2011 shot her up to international fame. MTV called it "the craziest music video ever made". As of today, it has a total of 41.9 million view on youtube. It starts out Kyary standing on one leg with her right hand reaching for the sky. A decorated, pink microphone stand slowly emerges from a pink ear and Kyary catches it and starts to sing. Then blah blah blah, messy place, stuff piled up, a plump dancing faceless lady, weird stuff emerges in and out of her window, blah blah blah, pretty normal stuff AND THEN BIRDS FLIES OUT OF THE PINK GIRL AND SHE VOMITS EYE BALLS. OH LAWD. DEAR LAWD. GAWD. And so, go experience this absurdness by yourself! You definitely won't regret it! (Except for the fact that you'd probably be hooked on to this song for the next week or so.)
I'm pretty sure you're like, "WTF BRO?!" right now, but wait, this is what Wikipedia had to say! (When in doubt, always seek wikipedia.)

"The video is a mix of 2D and 3D animation. It depicts two worlds, the first of which was created by Masuda Sebastianone and looks like a room of a girl; the other is her own mental world, where her face is pink-colored.[3] The video starts with a microphone stand coming out of Kyary's ear. The microphone stand is used to imitate the image of Freddy Mercury.
In the meaningless, repetitive chorus, "Pon Pon Way Way Way Pon Pon Way Pon Way Pon Pon", Kyary performs a dance choreographed by air:man with the lyrics inserted as kinetic typography. When Kyary claps during the bridge, slices of bread appear because "pan" is the Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound of a clap, as well as the word for bread." - Wikipedia

AND I HAVE GOOD NEWS. This adorable cutie is back with another SUGOI KAWAII song! It's not absurd and crazy like Ponponpon but it is SUPER adorable. It's a song about her reaching her coming of age day and becoming an adult. In the video, she can be seen consuming a huge amount of alcohol and smoking from a pipe like what adults presumably do. As she drinks more, she "levels up" in terms of adult-ness. It's quirky, it's cute, and actually, it does have some insightful lyrics! From "After having tasted the bitterness of chocolate. Am i a kid? Am i an adult?" to "When i become an adult, will i be happy? When i become an adult, will i be sad?". Many of us think that things will DEFINITELY get better once we grow older and become an adult. But is that true? Well, yeah, when you're in adulthood, you'd probably be more mature, you'd probably get a job with an average monthly income, you'd probably get a girl/boyfriend. Life seems good eh? But being an adult will have its own downsides and upsides. So basically, the problems you are facing now would be the same, except that it would 'evolve' from " Oh. My. God. She so did not say i was copying her fashion style!" to " Oh. My. God. She so did not say i was copying her idea! BITCH, I HAD THAT IDEA FIRST." Haha! Alright, let us all calm down and enjoy this new song of hers!

In all, she's no your average cutie pie. She's cute + wacky + pretty. Hopefully you'd become a Kyary Pamyu  Pamyu fan too! So, goodbye you sexy giraffes and stay sexy and adorable ;)
