IT IS THE ONE. IT IS THE ONLY. IT IS THE AWESOME FRENCH DJ/MUSICIAN/PRODUCER/SONGWRITER, MADEON.
Yes, it is Madeon. I thought I should start this blog with someone talented. I am very impressed with him and his music. I first found out about him when i was just scooping about youtube. I clicked on a video called "Madeon - Pop Culture (live mashup)" and was immediately hooked. I clicked on his other videos and listen to his other tracks and was like WOWASDFGHJKWOW. Few days later I read his Wikipedia page and realised he was only 18. Yes, you did not read wrongly. He's just 18. Let that sink in. 18. It makes me wonder, what the heck have I been doing all these years in my life. So for a few days, I was curled up in a ball, gobbling up chips, soda and nutella, and crying because I'm not a talented in any way. Ok, the last bit wasn't true. Heh.
Alright, back to Madeon. Here's some details about him.
He's 18. (19 this year)
He's French.
His real name is Hugo Pierre Leclercq.
His hometown is Nantes.
He dj-ed for the EMA 2012.
He was listed at number 54 on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list in 2012.
His biggest musical influence is The Beetles and Daft Punk.
Icarus was featured in the US version of So You Think You Can Dance and also as a soundtrack in Forza Horizon.
Finale was featured in FIFA'13, the US version of SO You Think You Can Dance, and the opening song of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
